This itinerary offers a perfect balance of cultural immersion, wildlife encounters, and stunning landscapes, providing a truly remarkable adventure.

Day 1: City tour in Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe National Park.

Explore the city of Kigali, visiting landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Caplaki Crafts Village, and the Kimironko Market. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to Nyungwe National Park, located in southwestern Rwanda. Check into your accommodation and relax for the evening.

Day 2: Canopy walk and community walk in Nyungwe National Park.

Start the day with a thrilling canopy walk, where you’ll walk on suspended bridges amidst the treetops of Nyungwe Forest. Enjoy panoramic views of the forest canopy and spot various bird species. After the canopy walk, embark on a community walk, visiting local villages and interacting with the residents. Learn about their traditions, customs, and daily life. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Leave Nyungwe National Park after breakfast and begin your journey to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. Enjoy scenic views of the countryside as you drive through rolling hills and rural villages. Arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the afternoon and check into your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and preparing for the next day’s activities. Dinner and overnight stay in Volcanoes National Park.

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking and cross the border to Bwindi.

After an early breakfast, embark on a golden monkey tracking adventure in Volcanoes National Park.
Accompanied by park rangers, trek through the forest in search of the playful golden monkeys.
Observe their unique behaviors and capture memorable photographs. After the golden monkey tracking, cross the border from Rwanda to Uganda. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known for its population of endangered mountain gorillas. Check into your accommodation, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi.

On this day you will wake up early morning take breakfast and head to Bwindi headquarters for briefing from the park rangers and be assigned a gorilla family to track. Embark on a trek through the dense forest, following the guidance of experienced trackers. Once you locate the gorilla family, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Witness their behavior, interactions, and perhaps even catch glimpses of baby gorillas.
After the trek, return to your accommodation and relax for the evening.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha.

Leave Bwindi after breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you’ll pass through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep an eye out for these unique felines as you drive through the area. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Check into your accommodation, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 7: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, known for its lion prides and other wildlife. Spot elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, and various bird species. Return to your accommodation for breakfast, followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species during the cruise. Dinner and overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 8: Early morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast. Check out and transfer to Kibale National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees.
Arrive in Kibale in the late afternoon, check into your accommodation, and relax for the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Embark on a trek through the lush forest with experienced guides, tracking the chimpanzees. Once you find them, spend a memorable hour observing their behavior and interactions. Listen to their vocalizations and learn about their unique social structure. After the trek, return to your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Admire the breathtaking scenery and spot wildlife along the riverbanks. Witness the powerful rush of water as the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating the magnificent Murchison Falls. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Kampala via the top of the falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and depart from Murchison Falls National Park. Make a stop at the top of Murchison Falls for a stunning view and photo opportunity. Continue your journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track rhinos on foot. Enjoy a guided walk to observe these magnificent creatures up close and learn about conservation efforts. After the rhino trekking, proceed to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon, marking the end of your adventure.
