Itenariry

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. You will meet our guide/driver and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey from Entebbe to Bwindi takes approximately 8-10 hours by road. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the scenic landscapes of Uganda, including rural villages, rolling hills, and lush vegetation. Our guide/driver will make stops along the way for restroom breaks and to stretch your legs. Depending on the timing of your arrival and the progress of the journey, you may stop for lunch at a local restaurant or have a packed lunch en route. Upon reaching your accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check-in and have some time to rest and relax after your long journey. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at the lodge and perhaps take a leisurely walk around the lodge grounds to soak in the atmosphere and get a glimpse of the surrounding nature. Our guide/driver will be available to answer any questions you may have and provide information about the upcoming activities and schedule for the following day. Overnight stay at your accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast. Embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Meet with rangers and receive a briefing before starting the trek. Trek through the dense rainforest to find and observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend a designated amount of time with the gorillas, usually around one hour. After the trek, return to your accommodation and unwind.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart from Bwindi and transfer to Kibale National Park in Uganda. The journey takes approximately 4-6 hours by road. Arrive at your accommodation and settle in. Take a leisurely evening walk around the lodge or nearby areas.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale National Park for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Meet with experienced rangers who will guide you through the forest. Trek through the lush jungle in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Observe the chimpanzees in their natural habitat and learn about their behavior and conservation efforts. After the trek, you may have the option to visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for bird watching and nature walks.

Day 5: Kibale National Park

Spend the day exploring more of Kibale National Park. Go for a guided nature walk in the forest to spot other primates and enjoy the rich biodiversity. Visit nearby communities and learn about their traditions and ways of life. Alternatively, you can take part in bird watching or relax at your accommodation and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Day 6: Transfer from Kibale to Entebbe and Flight to Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart from Kibale National Park and begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive from Kibale to Entebbe takes approximately 7-8 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions. Along the way, you will pass through scenic landscapes, rural villages, and possibly make stops at local restaurants or for restroom breaks. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania. Board your flight and enjoy the scenic views during the journey. On arrival you will meet our guide/driver who will be waiting for you at the airport. Then our guide will transfer you to accommodation in Arusha. Check-in to your accommodation and have some time to relax and unwind after the travel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the local markets or visit nearby cultural sites in Arusha. Overnight stay at your accommodation in Arusha.

Day 7: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey from Arusha to Serengeti may take several hours. Along the way, you will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, including the Great Rift Valley, rural villages, and wildlife sightings. Arrive at your lodge or camp in Serengeti National Park and settle into your accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on a sunset game drive to explore the park and spot its diverse wildlife. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to see animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Spend another day in Serengeti National Park, exploring different areas. Go on game drives to observe wildlife and capture more incredible sightings. Visit different regions of the park, such as the Seronera Valley or the Lobo area, to experience the diverse landscapes and habitats. Keep an eye out for predators and other iconic animals that call the Serengeti home. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue exploring until the evening.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning natural wonders. Arrive at your accommodation located on the rim of the crater and settle in. In the afternoon, you can take a guided nature walk around the crater rim, enjoying the panoramic views and learning about the local flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early for a memorable day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). Spend the day exploring the crater floor, observing the animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while surrounded by the breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, continue your game drive and capture memorable photographs. Ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha National Park

After breakfast, depart from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and make your way to Arusha National Park.

The journey from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha National Park takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on the specific location of your accommodation. Arrive at your accommodation in Arusha National Park and check-in. Arusha National Park is a smaller park but offers beautiful landscapes, including Mount Meru, forests, and grassy plains. Enjoy a game drive in Arusha National Park, where you can spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and various bird species. If interested, you can also take a guided nature walk in the park to explore the flora and fauna up close. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while surrounded by the natural beauty. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of Arusha National Park and take in the scenic views. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Arusha International Airport

After breakfast, you will check out from your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your flight departure time, you may have some free time to explore Arusha or engage in optional activities such as visiting local markets or cultural sites. Our guide/driver will then transfer you from your accommodation to Arusha International Airport. Arrive at the airport and proceed with the check-in and departure procedures for your flight. Bid farewell to Tanzania’s stunning landscapes and wildlife as you board your flight. Fly to your onward destination, taking with you wonderful memories of your safari adventure in Tanzania.
