6-Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda and Masai Mara

Itenariry

Day 1: Travel from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning, embark on a scenic drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. The journey takes approximately 8-9 hours, but you’ll enjoy beautiful landscapes and rural villages along the way. Arrive at Bwindi in the evening and settle into your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Bwindi is renowned for its mountain gorilla population, and today you’ll have the incredible opportunity to go gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your trek. Accompanied by experienced guides, hike through the dense forest in search of the gorillas. Once you find them, spend a precious hour observing and photographing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on your unforgettable encounter.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and drive back to Kampala. From there, catch a flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arrival in Nairobi, another flight will take you to Masai Mara National Park. Transfer to your lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4-5: Safari in Masai Mara National Park

Spend these two days exploring the vast savannahs and diverse wildlife of Masai Mara National Park. Embark on thrilling game drives in the early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active. Masai Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), as well as numerous other species. Marvel at the stunning landscapes and witness incredible wildlife encounters during your safari experiences.

Day 6: Departure
