7-Days Amboseli and Masai Mara National park

Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve, both of which are popular safari destinations in Kenya.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore some of Nairobi’s attractions, such as the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or the Giraffe Centre. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Early morning departure from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park (about a 4-5 hour drive or a short flight).

Check in to your lodge or camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli. Dinner and overnight stay in Amboseli.

Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli

Morning game drive with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views. Afternoon game drive or optional visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay in Amboseli.

Day 4: Amboseli to Masai Mara

Depart Amboseli after breakfast, either by road or flight, heading to the Masai Mara. Arrive in Masai Mara, check in, and have lunch. Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight stay in Masai Mara.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

Early morning game drive to catch the wildlife at its most active. Return to the camp or lodge for breakfast.

Optional activities such as a nature walk or a hot air balloon safari (book in advance). Afternoon game drive with a focus on the Mara River for potential Great Migration sightings. Dinner and overnight stay in Masai Mara.

Day 6: Explore Masai Mara or Optional Activities
