5 Days Uganda Safari Experience
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park (via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)
Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Entebbe and begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
On the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen.
After lunch, continue the drive to the park arriving in the afternoon. You may visit the Top of the Falls viewpoint for a spectacular view where the Victoria Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge to create the powerful Murchison Falls.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of Murchison Falls National Park. This is the best time to see wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly leopards.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks you may see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Visit to the Top of the Falls
After breakfast, head out for another morning game drive to explore different areas of the park and increase your chances of spotting more wildlife.
Later in the day, visit the Top of the Falls for one of the most impressive viewpoints in Uganda. Here you will witness the Nile forcing its way through a 7-meter gorge before plunging dramatically down.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest & Evening Game Drive
After an early breakfast, transfer to Budongo Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. With the guidance of experienced rangers, you will track a habituated chimpanzee group in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, return to the park for a relaxing evening game drive, offering another chance to see wildlife and enjoy the sunset over the savannah.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Transfer Back to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
You will have lunch en route and arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your 5-day Uganda safari experience.
