3 Days Uganda Cultural Experience with Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport at 10:30 am, you will be met and transferred for a relaxed introduction to Uganda.
The day begins with a guided walk through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Thereafter, transfer to the jetty for a boat excursion to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where you will enjoy an educational visit and observe rescued chimpanzees during the feeding session, while learning about conservation efforts on Lake Victoria.
After returning from Ngamba Island, proceed to Aero Beach and the Entebbe landing site to observe daily life along the shores of Lake Victoria. Later in the evening, enjoy a relaxed boat loop around nearby fishing and community islands on Lake Victoria. If time permits, visit the Entebbe Craft Village for locally made souvenirs and cultural interaction.
In the evening, transfer to Kampala for overnight stay.

Early morning departure north of Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on-foot rhino tracking experience, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Continue with a visit to the shoebill wetlands at Ziwa (subject to weather and time conditions).
After lunch en route back to Kampala, proceed with a cultural and creative exploration of the city, including:
• Wakaliwood (Wakaliga Film Studio) – a community-based film and arts project
• Old Taxi Park for a brief guided walk and observation of daily city life
• Visit to a selected art gallery, either Nommo Gallery or Afriart Gallery
In the evening, transfer to the Ndere Cultural Centre to enjoy a vibrant traditional dance and music performance showcasing Uganda’s diverse cultures, followed by dinner at the centre or a nearby restaurant.

The day focuses on Buganda’s royal heritage, spiritual landmarks, and cultural life. Begin with visits to the Kasubi Royal Tombs, Lubiri Palace and historic torture chambers, Bulange (Buganda Parliament), Wamala Tombs, and Ssemagulu.
Continue with exploration of Kampala’s faith axis, including the Gaddafi National Mosque, the Hindu Temple, and one major Christian site (either a Cathedral or an Orthodox Church).
In the afternoon, transfer to Munyonyo to visit the Uganda Martyrs Shrine and enjoy the lakeside setting. This will be followed by a visit to the Uganda National Theatre.
The day concludes with a peaceful visit to the Bahá’í Temple, allowing time for quiet reflection and silence before your evening or early-morning departure.
