Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On the first day, you will be traveling from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is located in southwestern Uganda and is approximately a 6 to 7-hour drive from Kampala, depending on the route and traffic conditions. You’ll have a chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ugandan countryside along the way.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

On the second day, you’ll embark on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game drives are typically conducted in the morning or late afternoon when wildlife is most active. You’ll have an opportunity to spot a variety of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and more.

After the game drive, you’ll also go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This boat cruise offers a unique perspective to observe wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species that inhabit the channel and its banks.

Day 3: Game Drive in Ishasha and Lake Katwe

This area is known for its picturesque landscapes and is a great opportunity to see wildlife in a different setting.

Afterward, you’ll visit Lake Katwe, a saltwater lake within the national park. Here, you can learn about the traditional salt mining practices of the local communities and explore the unique ecosystem surrounding the lake.
