Upon you arrival, you will be greeted by our tour guide or driver who will assist you with your luggage and transport. After you will embark on a scenic road journey from Entebbe to Kibale National Park. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Along the way, you’ll pass through lush countryside, small towns, and enjoy beautiful views of the Ugandan landscape. There will be opportunities to stop for refreshments, stretch your legs, and take in the surroundings during the journey. Arrive at Kibale National Park and check-in at your chosen accommodation, Settle in and relax, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and the anticipation of the chimpanzee trekking experience that awaits you. In the evening, you may have the chance to take a nature walk around the lodge area or participate in optional activities offered by your accommodation. Have dinner and spend the night at your accommodation, preparing for an exciting day of chimpanzee trekking ahead.

Wake up early in the morning and have a hearty breakfast to fuel yourself for the day’s trek. Head to the park’s visitor center, where you’ll meet your guide and join a small group of fellow trekkers. Receive a final briefing from your guide, who will provide information about chimpanzee behavior, safety guidelines, and the dos and don’ts during the trek. Begin the chimpanzee trekking adventure, following an experienced guide through the lush forest. The duration of the trek can vary depending on the location of the chimpanzee groups and their movement patterns. It could take a few hours or most of the day, so be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity. Once you locate a group of chimpanzees, spend approximately one hour observing them from a safe distance. You’ll have the opportunity to see them interact, play, feed, and exhibit their unique behaviors. After the chimpanzee encounter, return to the visitor center and then head back to your accommodation. In the evening, you may have the chance to participate in optional activities, such as nature walks or birdwatching.
