Day 1: Pick-up from Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be met by a guide who will transfer you directly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes approximately 8-10 hours, but you’ll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge near the park and rest for the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family and a team of experienced guides and trackers. The trek can vary in duration, ranging from 2-7 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll spend a magical hour observing their behavior and taking photos. Afterward, return to your lodge and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking or Optional Activity

You have the option to either embark on a second gorilla trekking experience, visiting a different gorilla family, or you can choose from various optional activities in the area. Some popular options include nature walks, bird watching, or visiting the Batwa Pygmies for a cultural encounter. Discuss your preferences with your guide and make arrangements accordingly.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe and Fly to Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll leave Bwindi and embark on a road transfer back to Entebbe. The journey takes approximately 8-10 hours, with breaks along the way for refreshments and rest. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The flight duration varies depending on the specific route and airline, but it typically takes around 2-3 hours. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you’ll be met by a guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in the park. Rest and prepare for your Serengeti adventure.

Day 5-6: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

These two days will be dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti on game drives. Your experienced guide will take you to prime locations for wildlife sightings, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and the wildebeest migration (if the timing aligns). Spend your days observing the incredible wildlife, taking photographs, and immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the park. Return to your accommodation in the evenings and relax.

Day 7: Final Game Drive and Departure
