Starting with a pick-up from Kigali, Rwanda, we will transfer you to Bwindi for an immersive gorilla trekking experience. On the second day, you will not only have the opportunity to trek gorillas but also engage with the fascinating Batwa community. Finally, we will drive you back to Kigali, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1: Pick-up from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Kigali, the vibrant capital city of Rwanda. Our experienced guide will meet you at your hotel or a designated location, and we will embark on a scenic drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of both Rwanda and Uganda. Upon arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will Check-in at your lodge and take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting day ahead. The lodge offers comfortable accommodation with stunning views of the surrounding forest, allowing you to connect with nature and unwind in a serene environment.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer back to Kigali

Rise and shine! Today is the day you have been eagerly waiting for – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the knowledgeable park rangers. They will provide essential information about the gorillas, their behavior, and the dos and don’ts during the trek. Once the briefing is complete, we will divide into small groups and set off on our trekking adventure. The experienced guides will lead you through the dense forest, using their expertise to track the gorilla families. The trek can vary in duration, ranging from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. However, every step you take is filled with anticipation and excitement. You will have the opportunity to observe the gorillas as they go about their daily activities – playing, feeding, and interacting with each other. Remember to maintain a safe distance and follow the instructions of the park rangers to ensure the well-being of both you and the gorillas. After spending an unforgettable hour with the gorillas, we will make our way back to Kigali.
