3-Days Budget Murchison Falls

A 3-day trip to Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda, including a visit to Ziwa Rhino

natural beauty. Here’s a suggested itinerary for your trip:

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Fall

Start your journey from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, and drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located en route to Murchison Falls National Park and is home to a population of white rhinos.
Upon arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, embark on a guided walking safari to track and observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Afterward, continue your drive to Murchison Falls National Park and check into your accommodation, which can be a lodge or a campsite within the park. In the evening, you can enjoy a game drive in the northern part of the park, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, and various antelope species.

Day 2: Early Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the park’s vast savannah plains. This is the best time to encounter predators such as lions and leopards, as well as other wildlife that are more active during the cool hours of the morning. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This boat trip offers excellent opportunities to view hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. As you approach the falls, you’ll witness the powerful surge of water as the Nile River is forced through a narrow gorge, creating a magnificent spectacle. After the boat safari, hike to the top of the falls, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and take memorable photos. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
