Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park – Kigali

Begin your adventure with an early morning drive from Kigali to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s premier savanna wildlife destination. Enjoy a full game drive exploring the park’s scenic landscapes and spotting wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, hippos, and possibly lions. A packed or lodge-based lunch will be provided during the safari. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to Kigali in the evening for overnight rest and preparation for the journey ahead. Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Bwindi

Arrive at your gorilla trekking lodge near Bwindi in the evening, ready for the next day’s unforgettable adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at a comfortable lodge close to the park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing, head into the dense forest with guides and trackers to locate a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the group’s location, but the magical hour spent observing these gentle giants is worth the effort. After the trek and lunch, drive to the serene Lake Bunyonyi, famous for its scenic beauty and safe swimming waters. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake or enjoying optional canoeing. Overnight at a lakeside resort.
