Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara

Depart from your accommodation in Nairobi and head towards the Masai Mara. The most common way to reach the Masai Mara from Nairobi is by road. The journey usually takes around 5-6 hours, depending on the road conditions and traffic. In the afternoon, arrive at your lodge or camp in the Masai Mara and settle in, enjoy a delicious lunch at your accommodation and take some time to relax. Embark on an afternoon game drive in an open 4×4 vehicle accompanied by our a knowledgeable guide.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive

Start your day early with a morning game drive, which offers the opportunity to witness wildlife during their most active hours. Return to your accommodation for breakfast and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, exploring different areas of the reserve and searching for wildlife encounters that you may have missed during your previous drives. Consider opting for a hot-air balloon safari during sunrise or sunset for a unique perspective of the Masai Mara’s vast plains (optional activity, if available).

Day 3: Masai Village Visit and Nature Walk

Take a break from game drives and visit a local Masai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. Interact with the villagers, witness traditional dances, and perhaps purchase some handmade crafts as souvenirs. Afterward, embark on a guided nature walk in the conservancy surrounding the reserve. This allows you to experience the smaller aspects of the ecosystem, such as birdlife, plants, and insects, and gain a deeper understanding of the region’s biodiversity.

Day 4: Game Drive and Departure
