7-Days Uganda and Rwanda Safari
A 7-day trip that includes Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, and Volcanoes National Park is a fantastic way to experience some of the best wildlife and natural wonders in East Africa.
Itenariry
Day 1: Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park
Early Morning After breakfast, your journey to Murchison Falls National Park begins. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours. but you’ll make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way. At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you’ll embark on a guided trek to see white rhinos in their natural habitat. After the rhino trek, we will proceed for lunch. Then Continue our journey from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park. Once you arrive in Murchison Falls National Park, check into your lodge.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning take breakfast and proceed for game drive, which offers an excellent opportunity to spot predators while they are active. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat safari along the Nile River to the base of the stunning Murchison Falls. The boat ride allows you to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. After the boat safari, you can opt for for evening game drive.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale National Park
Wake early morning for breakfast transfer to Kibale National Park, which can take 7-8 hours. but stop over for lunch in hoima town then proceed to kibale forest national park. Arrival in kibale and Check in at your lodge in Kibale and settle in. You can enjoy the evening at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the upcoming chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 4: Kibale National Park
Early in the morning, you’ll embark on a chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest, one of the best places to see and observe these remarkable primates. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can engage in bird watching and a nature walk.

Day 5: Kibale National Park – Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
Today’s journey takes you across borders from Uganda to Rwanda. The drive can take around 6-7 hours. Ensure you have the necessary visas and travel documents. Arrive and Check in at your lodge near Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience tomorrow.

Day 6: Volcanoes National Park
Early morning start for the highly anticipated gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. You’ll spend an hour observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, you’ll have the option to visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you can learn about Rwandan culture and interact with the local community.

Day 7: Volcanoes National Park – Kigali and Departure
Depart from Volcanoes National Park and drive back to Kigali, which takes approximately 2-3 hours. If time allows, you can visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center to learn about Rwanda’s history. The day concludes with your transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
