Itinerary

Day 1: Kibale National Park

Early morning our guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala and transfer to Kibale National Park. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours. Check into your lodge near Kibale National Park. Relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale

On this day you will wake up and proceed to UWA headquarter for briefing about chimpanzee trekking then after you will embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. Observe and learn about these incredible primates in their natural habitat. Enjoy other activities in the park, such as nature walks or birdwatching. After trekking we will transfer back to your accommodation for lunch and relaxation.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this day, we will depart from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours. Arrive at your accommodation near Queen Elizabeth National Park for lunch and relaxation. Take an afternoon game drive in the park to spot wildlife.

Day 4: Game Drives and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth

On this day you will wake up early morning for breakfast and begin the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. explore the park’s diverse ecosystems and search for elephants, lions, buffalos, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, observing hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early morning for breakfast and transfer to the park for morning game drive then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours. On arrival check into your lodge near Bwindi and relax. Prepare for the upcoming gorilla trekking experience

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Wake up early morning, take breakfast and proceed to park headquarters for briefing and embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Trekking through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers, to locate a gorilla family. Spend an awe-inspiring hour observing and photographing the mountain gorillas. Afterward, return to the lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure

Day 7: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Depart from Bwindi and cross the border into Rwanda. Travel to Volcanoes National Park takes approximately 3-4 hours. On arrival, check into your lodge near the park and rest

Day 8: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes

Wake up early morning for breakfast and transfer to park’s head quarters for briefing about golden monkey trekking. Embark on a thrilling golden monkey tracking experience in Volcanoes National Park. Observe the playful and rare golden monkeys as they leap through the bamboo forests. Enjoy the stunning volcanic landscapes and perhaps take a guided hike to explore the area further.

Day 9: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Wake up early morning and depart from Volcanoes National Park and travel to Akagera National Park. The drive takes (approximately 2-3 hours). On arrival check into your lodge near Akagera, Rest and prepare for wildlife encounters.

Day 10: Safari in Akagera National Park

Take a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. Spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more. In the afternoon take a boat safari on Lake Ihema, observing hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife

Day 11: Departure

Transfer back to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. The drive takes approximately 2-3 hours. Depart from Kigali International Airport or continue your journey as per your travel plans.
